Microsoft support chat - at 1 person ahead of me for over 30 mins

What are your experiences with Microsoft support chat? I got on with a "People ahead of you" at 11 with an "Average wait time: 13 mins" message, it went down pretty steadily, it's been at 1 for over 30 minutes, longer than it took to count down the previous 10. Anyone have insights into this?

Is there a better way to reach them?

The thing is they never connected to me. I tried it again and that time got as far as "You are next in line" but again no agent ever connected.

I feel you, sometimes those aren't perfect or you have some user that never picks it up.
