i have a audigy 2 and my mic aint working. i replugged in the cord it works for a split second and then shuts off...i keep repluggin in and does same thing works for 1 sec and quits

try reinstalling drivers for the soundcard and if any came for the mic reinstall the drivers for that to. if that doesnt work there is a bad connection either with your soundcard or your mic.
