Microphone background noise!

Hey

I bought a logitech microphone a few month ago, and there is a lot of backgound noise when i speak with it! I have tried other microphones on my computer and the do the same i even bought a new sound card to try solving the problem. But nothing works!

What can i do!

Computer:
AMD Athlon 3200+
1,5GB Ram
ATI RX 800 SE
Sound blaster AU 2
 
You can lower the sensitivity and put your mouth closer to the mic.

Or if you record stuff you can also get program that filter out backround noise. Like Goldwave wich is a sound editing program that you can filter stuff and make some cool soundFX.
 
Pro Tools

depends what you want it for, this may be a little off topic and im no expert but after ive edited and nned to put sound to it or add extra bits i use pro tools. bit procey but its really good and pretty easy to use, but thats my opinion http://www.protools.com/ always worth a try. but like i said im no expert. :D
