Mic doesn't work after installed Sound card?

Ever since i installed my sound card: Creative sound blaster Xtreme Audio, My Mic on my headset stopped working. Any ideas?
 
Indeed it's not on mute nor is the volume on low, Not sure if this makes a difference but its from my headset so its USB instead of the mic 3.5 audio jack
 
is it a logitech headset?
Because we have the same problem, its a usb headset and the mic doesnt work :/
 
Mine was from Microsoft but i just went out and bought a Mic so it's all good now but for the headset... I think i'll just throw it out i got it for free from them anyways :)
