Making pics smaller

does anyone know how I can make a pic smaller so that I can put it on the forum?

go into paint and click on image then stretch and skew and then i usually put 50% and 50% or 75 and 75 usually anyhting divisible by 25 is good. and if u have a buncha pics u want smaller im sure there is a program for that.

for the forum just host it at www.imageshack.us and get the hotlink for forums url and put it in your post

You can resize pics on MS Paint but the quality isn't that great. I have found that the GIMP does really good resizing. If you have your image hosted by PhotoBucket you can change the size as well.
