Making my computer a server for internet radio

I am looking to get into internet radio broadcsasting. I need a server. I currently have 3 good working computers i am not using. I need to know if and how i can convert one of them into a server so i can use it for internet radio broadcasting. Any advice or tips would be great
Sorry if I sound stupid but im new to some of this stuff.

yes it is posible. Just put an OS and the softare you need to run the internet radio. I wouldn't put much more than that on it or it will slow the computer down. I run a network at home and at work. The one at home is an old p1 266mz 256 mg of ram running win 2000. Only thing on it is my dsn/ip server software. Before that i had a lost of other things on and it slowed everything down. The one at work is a P2 with 512MB ram with win 2000.(soon to be replaced with monster PC) only reasion it is being replaced to met the demand of my clents and play games on it while im at work. (IT is nice to be a boss).
