I've been wondering now for a while how to make motion blur photographs. I'm hoping you guys could help me. I'll need it in simple as terms as you can describe it. Thank you in advance.

There are many ways how to apply the "motion blur" effect to any photograph through various photo editing programs. There are many tutorials online on how to achieve just that effect.

I'm not sure on how to produce that effect with a camera, but I'm sure that if you search online, you may find many detailed tutorials explaining the mechanics behind it.

the technique is called panning.

on your camera you'll need to pick a fairly slow shutter speed like 1/20 of a second. it's best to set your camera on shutter priority mode (S or TV depending on your camera). once that is set, focus on your moving subject and move with it and then firing off your shutter.

i tried looking for a vid and this should do.

I have a Canon MF4100 Series UFRII LT. When I got it it came with software which we installed "Presto! Page manager" When it was first installed it worked fine, it printed, scanned, and copied. However as of a few months ago it doesn't scan at all. When I push the scan button on the printer the LCD screen says "SCANNING MODE" but when I push "start" or "OK" nothing happens. No errors no pending scans no noises. Absolutely nothing happens.

Nothing happens when I try to scan from the computer either. What's strange is that it faxes and copies just fine. When I put something in the flatbed and push copy is spits out a copy just fine but when I try to scan nothing happens.

Please help me! Thanks.
