MacBook Air and PC

My wife has a MacBook Air and likes to use the desk where my desktop PC is located. Is there an easy way that I can connect her Air to the desktop so that she can use the desktop keyboard and monitor? Looking for something that would be easy to connect and disconnect.

well the MacBook air has two usb ports so you could simple unplug the usb keyboard and mouse from the desktop and plug them into the MacBook. USB is plug and play so you can do this whenever you want (with both on) If the laptop and mouse are wireless this is even easier just put the usb receivers on the front ports of your desktop and plug them into the MacBook air when you want to use them on there.

I guess I was wondering if there was a way to create a junction box or some type of docking station where she wouldn't have to perform any plugging in or unplugging. It would be more like one connection that would cover the keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Would that even be possible?

No worries Freerunner, do some research as Belkin may not necessarily offer the best solution for you. Just use search terms like 'Home office KVM' and you should be able to find a good one.
