MAC ID, 2 LAN CARDS, or USB

Hey,

I have somewhat of an interesting problem.

We are allowed to upgrade our computers at school but not just buy a completely new one. However, I went ahead and built a new one anyway because it was just not practical to upgrade what we had. Bearing in mind that many people do this at my school and it will not be "illegal" in any way in the real world only somewhat against school policy I have a question:

There are there possible avenues I can pursue with this:
1. my school uses MAC ID numbers to track us so I can spoof this but I am not entirely certain what that does and if that will hide the fact that its different.

2. I can get a USB to USB network and use my old computer connected to the LAN and USB network it to my new computer.

3. Buy another network card and run my new computer through the older one by this means.

Any thoughts on this ?

Thanks

I would just LAN your new one through. No need to illegally spoof, no stupid USB stuff, just plain good ol' LAN.

ok well then, I am going back on Wednesday so I can go tomorrow to best buy and pick up whatever I need, just a normal network PCI card right? And an ethernet? ... it's a shame too because my new computer has 2 LAN ports on it the A8N32-SLI Deluxe lol. But of course the old one only has one. Oh well.
