M-audio and X-fi

Hello.
On my computer can I have an Audiophile 192 and a creative labs X-Fi or are they the same and just get the Audiophile. I am planning on mainly to record but I also want a good card to make the music sound good. Any suggestions?

AMD 3400+
G.Skill 2GB
 
Yes you can, the X-Fi would be great for gaming and listening to music, and the Audiophile would be great for recording. I have a friend who has a similar setup and it works great.

Sorry, im not here 24/7...

I dont have first hand experience with it, but if they do cause a conflict, you could simply disable one in the device manager if you want to play games, or disable the x-fi if your going to be audio editing or something.
