PLZZ (dial-up firewall) HELP lucent win modem

i have a lucent win modem 56k dial-up i dont know model...
And it must have a buil-in firewall or something coz i try to use some applications and it says that i am using a firewall {{I HAVE NO FIREWALL TO NORTON NOTHING on when i am trying and still the same }}


Any1 have any ideas plz help

Using win xp? service pack 2? Windows automatically turns it on. Right click my netowrk neighborhood, click properties, (opens a window) right click on your dialup connection, ( believe it is your last tab on the window. Turn off firewall... good luck!
