Loud PSU- What to do?

My power supply is noisy. Very. Its an Akasa PowerPlus 650W, and it only has one Sayno Denki (sp?) 80mm fan. I cant change the fan beacuse

1. Its soldered onto the PCB
2. I need a high performance fan in it as its a animal :D

So, what can I do to silence the beast? The rest of my system i think is really quiet, cant hear it becuase of the god damn PSU!

My HSF - 16dB
Case Fans - 21dB
GPU (AC NV6) - 0.3 sone (Anyone care to tell me this in dB? :D)

find the rating on the fan in the PSU, find out what voltage it runs on. Just because it is soldered on doesnt matte, snip the wires off about an inch up and then literally wire a new (silent) fan into the + and - wires, ive done it on my old PSU, worked a charm.

Im a little wary of changing the fan though. It needs to be high performance to cool this beast, since theres only one 80mm fan it runs a little hot under load. It has two MASSIVE heatsinks to help too though. :D

then get a high performance fan, you can get high performance silent ones, they just cost a bit more, but if you want it quiet AND cool then thats what your gonna have to pay. Saying that, the PSU i did it to a long time ago, i just used a standard £2 case fan in there.
