Lost Sound Card

Hi all.

I have a bit of a problem. I have a laptop, Dell Latitude d531, so it´s an old one but my wife uses it.

My problem is that she asked me if she could delete some Thosiba program on the computer and I a man could not do two things at the same time and said yes with out thinking about it(smart).

Now we don´t have any sound on our Dell laptop and I´ve spent hours trying to find out how to fix it.

Have already tried to restore it, no luck. Have followed all information which I was given (by the computer)
Been on the official Dell website to try to find Sound Card, no luck etc etc etc.

So I need help. Is there anybody that can help me with a solution for this problem.
I have Lenovo T500 and really don´t want my wife to use it. It´s like loaning you´re wife to the neighbor and that´s something we just would´t do. :)

Hope somebody has a solution for me.
 
This is just an application file and I only get download manager and cant download the actual file.
Any other ideas?
 
Clear your history and download the file again, but this time select to download through your web browser.
 
Can you explain to me how I do this?
Not clear history but this thing in getting my sound card.
Wife is clearing history as we speak.

Really unsure how this audio works. :(

Edit* We have cleared history and only thing that downloads is the Dell driver download manager. Not getting sound card or anything like that.

Ok we´ve looked at everything and nothing is working and we´re not getting any sound.

What I know is that this was a Toshiba sound card and thats all. Why Toshiba, I dont know.
No Sound Card, no Audio, nothing and I really need sound because my wife needs to see videos about a hospital. We´re expecting a baby on august the 18th.

So please don´t give up on me. :)

And next time you need to download a driver from Dell, be sure NOT to use the Dell Download Manager ;)
