I have an hp pavilion. It has worked fine untill recently. I had tried to save them to cd, but I had too many files, and was going to put them on a jump drive. I think the files might have been messed up in that process.

Hp pavillion 753n, windows xp home, nvidia raedon video card, extra memory, ... thats about it.
Nothing really new recently.

ok no problem.

1. right click on one of the pictures. and choose properties

2. hold down ALT+print screen (print screen is above the insert and delete keys )

3. go into paint and hold down CTRL+V and save the image to your desktop.

4. go to imageshack.us and upload your image and then past the link they give you here.

whew!

got it?

sure no problem:D try opening paint and then going to open and try opening one of your pictures that way. also try (if you don't mind) uploading the whole picture to a web server and post a download link here so we can try opening it.

I need to go soon but i'll be back in about 1 1/2 hours. good luck:D

ok eric last post for about an hour.
go to http://www.uploadjar.com/ and try to upload one of the files and post the download link here.

also try renaming one of the pictures to test.jpg and then try opening it if that won't work try test.jpeg

and your welcome

Yes, also tried loading a new photo program to no avail
I cleaned up my computer recently, and removed an old photo editing program I am going to reload it to see if it had caused the corrupted files.
