loss of sound

my pc has sound when i play movies,music etc i have on pc but when i use utube or games in facebook there is no sound.can anyone help please:confused:
 
I assume that you use youtube and facebook in the same web browser.

Right click the little speaker on the bottom right, next to your clock, and click open volume mixer. Internet explorer, or whatever other browser you are using, should be there. Make sure it isn't muted, or the slider set to the very bottom
