Looking for new Computer speakers Please Help

So i have had my Creative G500 speakers for about a year now and just now the amp had gone bad. Ive started looking around but don't know what to get. does anyone have any Suggestions?
 
Logitech X530 - $50-$60 ovalish shape speakers, sub woofer, (older version)

Logitech X540 - $70-$90 rectangular shape speakers sub woofer, comes iwth table top control (newer version)

5.1 speakers
 
thats what i have now but the problem that every one has with these speakers is that the amp goes out in like a week. and they are a hassle to mess with if they do become bad.

suppose it depends on what he's using them for, I would agree if it was just generally playing a bit of music and the oddgame. But if your doing music production or like myself you have it hooked up to your TV and use it as your media player then a good sound system can make the world of difference.

I would take a look at the offerings from the likes of Klipsch and Bose, both will have some very good quality setups
 
well i have it hooked up to my tv and i have speaker wire coming though the walls that connect to my computer. so a high end system would be nice
