Looking for good ideas

Hello everyone,

So I am currently taking a Web Fundamentals/HTML class, which is going very good so far, thanks for asking. The final project for this class is to create our own website using HTML. The website can be about any topic that we choose... So naturally, I'd like to create a website about something that interests me, but I'm still struggling to figure out what interests me enough that I could create a website about it. Pretty much everything about computers interests me, but I am not sure if I have enough knowledge and original ideas to create a website about anything computer related.

I am curious if any of you have a good idea for what I should create a website about. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

How skilled are you at it? If your quite good I'd suggest putting pictures as a backround, a little thing that follows your mouse, something along those lines.

Check out these links for some website ideas, dont know how helpful they'll be but its something:

And just remember, good websites are those that are easy to use and clear. So buttons must be labelled well and all in the same place (Menu musn't be in a different place for each page). Colour, pictures and words :)

There are a million websites trying to be the be-all-and-end-all out there, but many of them are pretty vague, and information is too thinly spread.

So just choose something you do know about, however specialized, and cover it in great detail, explaining everything in simple english. Original thinking comes from either a great mind or a hugely experienced mind, so don't worry about that.

Thanks for the advice guys, I totally agree that so many websites are vague and poorly organized, and therefore hard to use and navigate.
