Looking for good gaming PC

(I didn't see a questions or advise forum, sorry if there actually is one)

Let me start off saying that I have been a console gamer my entire life. So I really don't know a thing about what to look for in a gaming PC. I've searched for a while for a good PC and came across this one:

http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/CyberPower_Black_Pearl

I read the reviews and they all say it's a great buy. Then I looked below the picture at all the options you have to pick from on I guess the build of the PC. As you know, i'm completely lost on what makes a good gaming PC.

So basicly what i'm looking for is a PC that plays any game out there on max settings very well (if that's possible with my price range). Will this PC do that with the default options selected (with the $1299 pricetag)? Or will you recommend I change something, or buy a whole different PC?

I'm easily willing to go up to $1,500, but if it's worth it, I can go a tad higher.

Are you set on a custom order prebuilt? They are going to be considerably more costly, but will save you the hassle of labor. Some things i'd personally change about that setup are the power supply and cooling options, because they both use a brand called Xtremegear, which is more or less a crappy generic brand you don't want anything to do with. It's a decent but expensive rig aside from that. After peripherals/addons like speakers, keyboard/mouse, network card, etc you'll end up higher than you planned. These kinds of sites are for people with deep pockets, and special needs. You might be better off trying to build your own to get what you need within the budget.

Thanks for the reply :)

Since I don't know anything about building a PC, i'd be more then ok with putting in a little more money to have one prebuilt. I would swap out the cooling system and power supply as recommended for a little extra cash, no biggie. And all the extra stuff (speakers, mouse, keyboard, etc.) is not a problem at the moment. But will this PC run... well... let's say Call of Duty: Black Ops or some other similar game nice on max settings? Or would you guess I would have to tone down the graphics to play with 30-60 fps?

EDIT: Pretty stupid question: When you say network card, is that basicly what connects me to the internet? I can't just plug in my ethernet cable to the back of this thing and get internet?

And also, when you say "These kinds of sites are for people with deep pockets, and special needs", do you know of a better place I can get what i'm looking for? Or, is there a commputer store for dummies where I can just say "Hi, I want a computer that plays games good" and not get ripped off with some crap PC that has problems?

This is why i've always been nervous about buying a gaming pc, it's all so confusing :P

Another option if you're completely unconfident about your tech skills, is you could get the parts you need from newegg, tigerdirect, or whoever else has the lowest price per part- and then call a local shop and see how much it would be to get them to put it together for you.
