looking for earphone

Hi, I'm looking for earphones that only have one ear piece for my iPod and computer. One of my ears causes me to have spasms if I were to have something emitting sound too close to it (leaving tabletop speakers fine). It's become troublesome to leave one earbud hanging around me while I'm working. It's also annoying to listen to songs that were designed for stereo sound thus leaving me hearing only part of the music. Any help on this would appreciated.
 
Just buy a set of earbuds and cut the side off that your not using. You won't be able to hear any panned audio to the other ear obviously, but I doubt you will find a single mono earbud

Music isn't mono, it is stereo, this bud combines both channels so you can hear any sound that may be panned. They do have mono buds at that site as well if he would rather have those.
 
I'm sorry I misunderstood when I read it was a stereo bud. I thought it was a bud from a stereo field which would only be the left or right. I was wrong, you were right. :)
