So after all this trouble (http://www.computerforum.com/183494-help-my-problem.html) I think that i'm just going to get a new power supply and LGA 775 motherboard....

Looking for something about the same....yes I have tried to see if anything else is wrong with it but it's down to a)the power supply or B)the motherboard...I really don't feel like fixing it and since I will be buying a netbook and making a newer computer sometime in the next 3 months I really don't want to spend to much time on this computer anymore....I will be leaving it to my parents so that they can use it so no i'm not interested in selling

I can trade you my motherboard plus cash or just cash...I'm not sure if the motherboard is bad or not but I really don't want to mess around with it...maybe we can just do a trade and you might get lucky that I was wrong and everything was fine?

Not looking to spend over $50 shipped (only looking to buy/trade in the US)... My motherboard is in my sig but i'll post the link anyways....

why not go with a socket 1156 if you got to get a new board. ill buy your memory off of you. and sell your cpu. no one is going to want a bad mobo with no warranty.

I don't want to sound like/be a dick but please read the whole post before posting something...

Like I said on my post I'm not selling the WHOLE computer just trying to trade my motherboard for another LGA 775 model and or add cash or just buy it from somebody...I thought i'd try here first since I trust people here more than I do at my local craigslist and maybe I can get something better for the price than buying straight from newegg...AND I also posted that I will be leaving this computer for my parents and making a totally new build and buying a netbook all in the next 3 months so no I don't want to upgrade...hopefully that didn't sound too harsh...haha

Ok and that's why said trade plus cash, straight trade, or just cash for anybody interested on selling thier old lga775 and like I ALSO said it's up to the seller/buyer to decide if they want it in a trade or if somebody wants to buy it and try and trouble shoot it..If you're not intersted please don't post anything Thank you... One last comment...nobody said that the mobo was bad I said I THINK that might be whats causing my problems...It could also be my PSU...or anything else but that's what I narrowed it down to...

I checked it out and the hard drive is eligible for an upgrade for a small fee...I will be doing that instead of selling it...thank you 87dtna for that suggestion
 
Are you still looking for a motherboard? If so, I have the exact same motherboard that I am willing to sell. There is nothing wrong with the motherboard and I believe I have all the cables and accessories for it along with the box.

Can I ask why your selling it? Sorry I just want to be sure it works before I buy especially since it's the same motherboard and I don't want to have a problem with it....do you mind sending me some pictures of everything included (tagged of course)? How much are you asking (price with shipping please)? Are you interested in my board as a part of the transaction? Sorry for the list of questions haha just trying to get everything in order so that I don't have to edit.
 
I am selling it because I thought I was having problems with it but it turned out to be the cpu. There is nothing wrong with the motherboard. Where are you located at so I can see how much shipping would be? I will pm you a more recent pic shortly.

I do not need another board. Sorry I can't help you out there.
 
Did you get my pm? I would like to have $50 including shipping for it.

I just want to let you know that there is a spot on back of the motherboard that is discolored from where I had a little trouble getting the heatsink bracket off. I am pretty sure I had it installed since then and it still worked. But it has been sitting for a while and I have no way of testing it again. I will try to get a pic of it and send it to you.
 
Yah i got your pm...do you think you can send me a picture of the spot that's discolored? Oh and one more thing i forgot to ask...is it the rev 1.0 or 2.0?
 
I will pm you a pic of the discolored spot. I am pretty sure it is revision 2.0. I will check that to be sure. It is revision 2.0.
