Logitech X-530 speakers

Well I got a set of Logitech X-530 speakers and they sound really good. The thing is I would also like them to work when I play my xbox 360,Wii, or just watch TV. I was wondering if there is any kind of an adapter, converter box type thing that would let me hook them up to both my TV and Computer, and still have the 5.1 surround sound.

:)

they should come with a console adapter that lets you have 5.1 with consoles, but if i remember correctly you can't have them plugged into the pc and console at the same time.

I know it's a pain but you'll have to unplug them each time, or buy another set ;)

I didn't buy them new though. I got them from a friend for $15 and all he gave me was the speakers. I just text him and he said he has no idea what happened to the adapter and probably had never took it out of the box.

Can you buy them on ebay or from some where? I wouldn't really mind switching them every time as my PC and 360 are next to each other and easily accessible.

So I found what I need it's this right http://www.amazon.com/Console-Adapter-Convert-Plugs-Single/dp/B0006U3ACY/ref=dp_cp_ob_e_title_0. The only problem is a use HDMI to hook my 360 to my TV. To use that I would have to use the component cables which I don't want to do. That's why I wanted something that I could use for my TV in general. I guess if that's the only way then I will just have to forget about it.

That's exactly what you have to get. I'm currently hooked up to my monitor (see in sig) with a HDMI cable and I'm using my component for the surround sound. The X-530 comes with that adapter brand new.

So I can use the HDMI for video and use my component cables separate for audio? I didn't know this, so both the speakers and my TV will play the sound correct? Well I guess I will get it soon and try it out.

I'm sure they will, but the left and right fronts will be the same as the left and right rears.

Yea that's what I was thinking also. Well I found the little adapter for $3 so I will try it out. It's still going to sound better then the sound my TV puts out so for $3 I can't go wrong.

With the adapter included when you buy new, i got full 5.1 sound with my PS2. Was playing lego starwars, and it sounded epic in 5.1!
