locking a d-link

hi i have a D-Link G604T it wireless. I know theres other wireless networks around as they show up on my connection list some of these are locked and you need a password to get on them. I think that other people are using my network and was wondering how to password lock these to stop others getting on it.

assuming u use winxp, go into network connections and use the WEP encryption. it's a pretty basic firwall, but it'll keep most people out.
