liquid cooling Vs Fan

im about to make my new comp. i was wondering wats the difference between liquid cooling and fan?, besides the obvious fact that one uses liquid and the other is a fan. and could also please tell me how liquid coolings works?
 
i c very helpfull bob. i fink i stick with the traditional way. fan for me i dont even OC my comp
 
If you dont overclock your computer, there really isnt a need for liquid cooling. If you really want a silent PC, you can get some high CFM low RPM drives that are near silent.
 
I wonder whether or not it would work just to have copper tubes instead of water tubes, using copper as the main conductor, and using a radiator with that in the middle of the case, or behind it or something? IT would probably work, and I think some are designed similar to that thinking (fanless), but it's most likely heavy and space consumptious to do
