my question is pretty simple...
my whole house is currently online thanks to the WRT54G, If I go buy the wireless N, would i have to change all the network cards in the laptops and computers ?? Or will the computers be able to connect to the wireless N ?

The pre-n is backward compatible with the 802.11g and b standard. So basically as long as none are a then you are all set

Which means you will not receive N speeds unless you purchase an N card for the computer you want it for.
