Limit connections to wireless AP

Hello All
Does anyone know of an AP that will only allow a certain number of concurrent connections? Need to be able to balance the load on AP's in classrooms of up to 32 laptops.

I know I can filter the connections via MAC address, but would rather do it by stopping clients bogging down a single AP and sharing the load with other AP's.

You can limit the number of Ip address which can be assigned. Thus cutting how many people can use the AP. You can block ports for programs which take all the bandwidth...
