M mjoliat Member Jan 23, 2009 #2 Yep, You'll have to take the cover off and follow the wires from that jack to the motherboard. They are probably just reversed on the MB.

B bblack001 New Member Jan 24, 2009 #3 they go directly from the front jack to the soundcard that i have, its kind of the fool proof connection, no way to reverse them due to pin location
