Hi,
I am in the process of buying a 42 inch lcd tv for the PC,
Making a media system,
What connection is best between the pc and tv,

dvi connection is what i use that goes to my laptop

edit got it from circuit city today is their last closing day hurry they might have it

DVI or if you would like sound and video all in one cable HDMI. Both produce the same picture quality.

+1, id say HDMI for that reason.

I am buying a 3.0M Metre DVI -D to HDMI Cable,
That sorts out the link between pc and lcd,
Next thing to sort out is the virgin top box to the lcd,
Its connected via scart lead at the moment,

The only connections i have got are
1 x RS232 DCE
1 x IEEE1284
1 x ETHERNET

There must be a better way to connect than scart,

na just connect the digi box though a scart, it works fine, unless you wanna spend loads on one with a HDMI but there aint much point in that
