Laptop without LED backlight

Hi all !

I am a student, and I worked on an iBook g4 untill that one passed away.
I have searched a new computer from Apple, but I discovered in the meanwhile that LED-backlight screens, as well as mirror-effect screens gave me huge migraine, so I have searched a bit through the internet if I can find some computer without LED and without glossy display, and I don't, so I come here to ask your good advices.

My dream laptop is a 13 to 14'' display, non-glossy and non-led ("old rule"), with a good battery for max. 800 euros/900$, of course new.
But this one is only the dreaming version : if you have any proposition for models, without LED, even with a bigger display, or more expensive, I take it also !

Thank you a lot for your help,

Sincerely,

T.

perhaps get one of those plastic privacy screen dimmer thingies? do you know what im talking about? you secure it over your screen, it's darker see through plastic. One sec I'll find a link to one for you. not sure if that would work though. I know people who sit at a computer all day use them to dim the screen so they don't get headaches. Though im aware thats different than a migraine.

cant seem to find a good link for one, hmmm

I am still searching but I have been having a hard time finding matte screens, I also prefer them but they are not easy to find these days. The only one I have ever seen is the chromebook but this would require you to live in the cloud. It does have some services that work offline like it documents but other then that requires wifi.

Thanks for your answers.

Tekmaster, I already have tryed this kinda filters, and unfortunately, it does not work for me. It potentially allows me something like 15 more before having the first sensation of strain, but not anymore.

DMGrier, I found some matt displays, most of these are issued on the professional lines by the constructors (Vaio Z, but I am not sure, Lenovo pro series, Toshiba Portégé new versions, Dell Vostro, Macbookpro 15" on special order, etc), BUT it remains LED-backlighted screens.
I have tryed this afternoon a matt display LED-backlighted. Well, to get in irony, I am wondering if finally, I do no preafer it glossy and LED :D.
After something like two minutes (that was a Toshiba Portégé, nice look anyway), I can not look to the screen anymore, with the seller looking at me and asking "are you all right ?".

Anyway, thanks for your time, and if you'll find something, I'll be right somewhere around.

Is that nobody around, or is it rather a lost cause ?

Mmmhhh. I've looked around on the internet, and it seems that, out from my self petition (which does not give me a usable computer anyway), there is some others running.
Is that a lawsuit or something like that scheduled ?

Being not in the USA, a multiple action (forgotten the name - a law action against something for several people united) is not possible here (Europe), but couldn't that be a kinda solution ?

I'm going back on my mud tablet.
