On my old laptop that I want to set up for my kids, the number 1 key is stuck. I have cleaned the laptop key 1 and also the additional keyboard that I plug into my laptop (the laptop has broken keys on it). The laptop makes that noise when a key is being pressed continually. I cannot figure out how to get it to stop. Any ideas that can help me? Any field I put the curser, the number 1111111111111111111111111111111111111111 fills everything. Thanks so much!

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard?

If you've cleaned it and it still does this, then you'll probably want to just replace the whole keyboard. Most of the time they only run $20 or less.
