Hello
1.Which of these two brands, HP and Asus, are better in terms of the quality of the motherboard, chipset, compatibility of parts, software and hardware support?

2. Which of the following two models is better with a clear reason?
Hp model fd0336 Cpu 1315u vs Asus vivobook 15 model x1504va cpu 1315u ?

While HP does have Sub-Par devices, I wouldn't trust ASUS. Their warranty department seems to be real shady, plus I can never find any service manuals for their machines.

I knew a guy that was salty against Toshibas since they were a pain in the ass to fix.

There's turds on any brand, usually the HP ones that show up in the shop are the cheapy ones, they skimp a bit more on build quality imo.

At that level I'd just pick the one I liked more since it's a general consumerist computer and they have similar specs.

The stack of dead HP laptops I had back when I did bread/fix at the computer shop.
I would add my own desktop had issues, and while it was repaired the first time, the same issue occurred after warranty was up. If I would put faith in one brand, it would be Dell.

But having said that, you (again) didn't say what you are going to do with them (work, gaming, etc). So the specs are moot until you are clear in what you want to do.

Usually the ones I saw dead were those expensive entertainment laptops from the DV Series. DV3000, DV6000, and DV9000. Not cheap machines at the time.
