laptop help

(not sure if this is in the right forum if it is not im very sorry) are IBM thinkpad r60s good laptops im going to be buying one on ebay for 185.00 i know it kinda old but my computer crashed so i have to find something cheap for now are these good computers and are the good at running programs will they last a long time.?

That will not last a long time at all, especially depending on what you will be doing with it. If you can at all raise your budget enough to get a dual core processor and at least 2gb RAM. I think that'll set you for now.

it says it is a dual core it has 2 cores its got 1.83 ghz i mean i probaly wont use a lot of programs mainly just for billing and music and online videos and some online flash games i really want it to last at least 2 years its refurbished grade A so i thought it would last a little while

the only thing i will probably have on it is(itunes.avast anti-virus,windows media player, and little programs

Oh haha, I didn't see that. I thought I read celeron. If you grab that though, I would still add some ram to it. And just so you know. don't make duplicate topics. I saw this same topic in laptops.
