Laptop can ping Desktop but not visa versa

I have a cable modem -> Linksys Router -> Netgear wifi Router.

My desktop and laptop are able to use the internet with no problems. However I cannot get them networked. The laptop can ping the desktop but not visa versa. I'm somewhat of a newbie to this stuff so what kind of settings should I be looking at??

Figured it out, well sorta... Instead of having my two desktops hardwired into the Linksys I just hardwired them into the Netgear. I guess having all 3 computers on the same router enabled them to talk to each other much easier. If you're wondering why I even have the Linksys it's because I got Vonage about a year ago and just now had the need for wifi because of the new laptop.
