i hate a Belkin 2-port KVM switch. model: F1DK102U and it works on one of my computers and not on the other one and the reason this is is because in device manger it shows up but does not work, this product does not have its own drivers as it uses windows drivers. which i cant find and dont know why. any suggestions and ideas??? do you need any more info???

and also, it works fine with my screen it just doesnt show my keyboard and mouse up. thanks!!!

this is what come up in device manager properties

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.

I also have a Belkin KVM switch and experienced somewhat the same problem. First off unistall both devices from each computer in your device manager. Than when re-connecting it make sure you plug the VGA cord on both computers along with a usb cable (to both) if it has one. That fixed the problem for me...give it a try.

hey man, thats cool! yeah like its working on one of my computers, the older one which i find weird as i though it would be that one that i was to have the problems with. so i completely unistalled it?

and should i then follow the steps in the manual like before. i dont think the switch is faulty, i hope not, no receipt and no more cash. thanks man!!! let ya know what happens :D

its not working, i dont understand as it says that the drivers are windows drivers that are already installed, could it be a problem with my usb ports? its asking for a disc because of the new hardware i just dont get it. thanks!!! :D
