KVM at work

If I use a KVM at work, (my laptop, their networked computer) can IT detect what I am doing on my laptop using their monitor?
 
not unless the kvm or your laptop are connected to the network. most kvm don't, but if your laptop is, then they could monitor network traffic to it.
 
The only connection to the network would be that the KVM is connected to the networked computer through a USB port needed to use the KVM. Laptop is also connnected to the KVM through a USB. Since I am sharing the keyboard with the networked computer I was wondering about keylogger programs on the networked computer. Make sense?
