Kingston SSD seems to boot now - wasn't earlier :L

So, I have been having RAM problems recently and have a new stick, and decided to reinstall windows onto an SSD.
It installed fine and I have installed software onto it, but of course it needs to reboot. On rebooting, the display throws the classic "reboot and select proper boot device" at me. I have no idea why it is doing this. The SSD is set to first in HD BBS properties, and even directly selecting the disk to boot from gives the same error.
Anyone have any idea what's going on here? I've read something about SSD firmware but I'm not sure what to do or how to go about it. I have a macbook and a small XP laptop besides my PC which could be used to update it.
So if you know what's causing this, please tell me!

It's a SV300S37A/60G, by the way.

IT JUST BOOTED!
I have no idea why it did that after multiple tries before but I'll restart it again and see if it keeps working.
If it does, I only ask why did it not in the first place?

If it doesn't boot, check the bios to see if its even detected. If its not, then we can only assume you have a bad ssd or possible loose power or data connection going to the drive.
