keep losing connection

hi guys, need help with this. i keep losing my connection on this one comp. i have to restart to get it to work again. The only things i can think of that would bother it are WampServer( sets up my comp as a webserver) and Azureus. Other than those i dont know whats up. thanks
 
are you on wireless?

if so are you fare away from the router and have poor connection

if not- it could be your internet provider
 
no i am wired. it isnt my isp because the other computers on my router work fine. i think it may be my browser. aol can load the sites fine but mozilla or ie cant
 
i think i got it. i did a search for "windows xp outbound connection" and something came up about a limited connection fix. XP SP2 allows only a max of 10 connections so this thing made it to 50 its working good now
 
no that wasent it but it did help. i think my problem is the physical connection because the problem happened again today and i unplugged the cat5 from the computer and put it back in and it works again. i tried unplugging it from the wall (have a wall port) and it didnt do anything. any ideas? anything i should try? should i just get a new mobo?
