Join Multiple Domains

I was wondering if there is way I can join muiltiple dns servers without having to buy MultiDNS from Globesoft.

Ps. I am not asking for a way to steal the software I'm just looking for a free solution to my problem.

Join my fathers domain

I'm trying to join my Dad's domain so I can use my hard drive at home and so forth. The domain is on a Windows 2003 machine, but I'm in a school with a corporate firewall. When I try to join the domain it comes up with the username and password crap. When I type it in it gives me an error. This is what it says. "The following error occured attempting to join the domain. The RPC server is unavailable". Also I forgot to mention I don't need to join multiple domains any
more.
