Hi there,

My name is Michael, i am 15 years old and i am good with computers.
When i get odler i would like to go into a computing job with good pay.

If you dont mind, could you tell me what good jobs are possible to get from studying a computing related topic.

I know about web creation etc.
But what else is there that i can earn good pay from in I.T?

Thanks,
Michael.

The two best fields to get into in my opinion would be either programming or networking. Both can yield high paying jobs if you get a degree, go for certs, and work hard.

I got a job selling computers at best buy!!! yay! hope to move up to geek squad before going off to college this fall. I would apply at best buy

for the younger folk, i wouldnt deny geek squad being a good start for experience. however, their technical support isnt very intuitive, if you want to pursue a career in i.t., id suggest sticking in college and eventually looking for mom and pop repair shops in town that can teach you other needs in the field. eventually you can work your way up to a great career

Best Buy / Geek Squad are fine for high school and college kids, but that is not a real career. If someone wants to get a good paying career in the computer industry, you won't find it working at Geek Squad.

Just from people that I know, these appears to be the best. And like [-OMEGA-] said, Geek squad is a good starting point for high school, but won't get you a good career.
