Hi! I'm new to this foum, so I hope I post this at the right place..
So basicly, the deal with my computer is that (currently) it does not work on the morning. How, you may ask? Whenever I turn on my computer in the early hours of the day (between say 8AM to 6PM) I get the message "No signal" on my computer monitor. I've googled this quiet a bit as it's happening more and more frequent (currently it happens every day, and it's freakin' frustrating!!) I've tried a few of the suggeston I could find via google such as cleaning the ram, removing the CMOS? battery for an extended period, general cleaning around the computer, switching cable and monitor. None of which worked.
Some times this "not working schedule" switches, and then it doesn't work at night time (say 6PM and after) but then it works on the morning.
The only thing I can't check is if it is the video/graphics card. The only thing that tells me that's not the issue is the fact that it does work and all the fans, light, etc powers on. The only "missing" light that I can notice is the one which should light up where he ethernet cable is connected. Would this indicate that the MB is striking, or is it in fact the graphics/video card?
I've had this computer for 2 years, and I've never had any issues with it up until recently when there was a power outage in my apartment, then after that the computer started acting weird. I just find it extremely weird that it would refuse to work at said hours then SWITCH to a different set of hours where it doesn't work.
When I had this power outage the computer was running, so it was shut down when the power went off (obviously). There were no smells indicating that something got fried, and it has been working since, but not 100%.
I talked to the company I bought the computer from, and they just told me to reinstall windows.. I haven't bothered doing that yet as I've got a lot of stuff I'd have to reinstall and it would take me forever to reinstall it all..
Does anyone have any actual fixes for this isse, or is my best option to reinstall windows, if that would even fix the issue (if it is hardware related)?
If not I guess I'll just go without a computer for a week and send it in for service.. (all options are incredibly annoying unless there are any actual fixes, lol.)
Thanks in advance!
