iTunes/iCloud on PC

Hi All,

I had a desktop PC and wiped the hard-drive [after saving what I needed] as it was over 10 years old and not sellable.

I had iTunes & iCloud installed on the PC but never used them on the PC in years.

I didn't actually log out of iTunes & iCloud on the PC prior to wiping the hard-drive, so I suppose what my question is, would there be any issues with this?

[FYI, I have an iPhone, I don't even use iTunes on it anymore but obviously iCloud I do for the usual syncing/back ups/app updates etc]

There is an option on the iPhone under settings where I can see that my PC was 'linked' to it, so I can guess I can remove it from it?

Many thanks.

If you properly wiped the hard drive then you have nothing to worry about. I'd unlink the account anyways just so a dead connection isn't lingering around.

Thanks Kyle.

iTunes & iCloud and other accounts like Steam/OneDrive etc are device related, so the fact that the PC HD has been wiped then destroyed shouldn't really encounter an issue in terms of security.......
