My new HP laptop runs Win11. I have had only desktops previously. I notice that when i am internet surfing, the touch pad will scroll the screen by dragging. USUALLY. But often, after scrolling with the pad a few times, it suddenly won't work any more. But the up and down arrows do, so I just switch to using them. But why? Did I hit a mystery key that they only tell you about in classrooms? Do you get X number of drags before you must switch to using the arrows?
Now I was digging for something and found my old USB mouse. Plugged it in. It works all the time, roller wheel scrolls as I am accustomed. Strange, these new computers...
