Classes start soon and i was thinking about getting a laptop instead. I tested this rig out on CS:S and got 275fps out of 300fps max. Nough said, specs below

Intel e8400 3.0ghz stock, at 4.06ghz safely OC'd
Asus P5e Deluxe x48 chipset (16x both pci-e slots)
Xigmatek S1283 Cpu Cooler (Bests cooler for the money)
Xpro 750W PSU
VisionTek 4870 512mb ddr5 memory
1x2 1066mhz Transcend ram
XClio Full Tower A380Plus
Veloraptor 150gb HD, 10k rpm
Audigy Sound Card SB0570

Comes with Chimei 22inch monitor, Inland 7.1 speakers, Plantronics Gaming headset (model 650), and keyboard/mice combo.

Awesome laptop...It is a couple years old but like new condition. I only turn it on every couple months to install any updates. It has been sitting in my house for about 8 months doing nothing.

It has a spot on the top metal case...tree sap from a wood roof in Afghanistan.

Bought it new for $2,640

That monitor is awesome. I have it I think. If it's like the one Ive got it has hdmi and composite and component and on top of that vga.

You sir are correct. I had this monitor and it was the cheapest 22inch out there. Plus if anything goes wrong, Chimei is like 10miles from my house :eek:
