Is my power supply enough?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forums, but have been dealing with computers since i was 8, i am not completely illiterate when it comes to these beautiful meachines we call computers. Now, enough of all that let me get to my point. All in all, I pretty much have a 2.8ghz i5 processor with 8gbs of OCz ddr3 1600 ram(running at 1333mhz, refuse to overclock) but I have bought a EVGA Nvidia GTX 560 Ti 2gb video card.

I have the 500 watt OCz ModXstream power supply.

I'm short on cash and really do not want to fork out the money right now for more parts at this exact moment unless absolutely necessary. I currently changed my tower with a newer one. It has 1 - LED 12mm Fan and 1 - regular 12mm Fan, i have 2 more on the way 1 regular and 1 LED.

I am not quite sure how much wattage the fans use, but once i add those will i be fine at 500 watt max capacity power supply. I know insufficent power leads to blue screens, lag/pc hang ups, but at the moment i have not encountered such things yet :)

Thanks for taking the time to read this for me and give me your feedback!

It should be fine for a little while. Since the unit you have has 2 - 12 volt rails, you would be really close to maxing it out. I would definately upgrade it to say a corsair cx600 or something similar.

Not a fan of OCZ power supplies. But you should be fine for now. The minimum system power requirement is a 500W.

That's plenty of wattage for that setup. Fans really don't use a whole lot unless you have some crazy delta fan or something. You can look at the rating on the fan, it should say something like "12v 0.25A" which would be 12*0.25=3 watts.

As stated, the unit isn't that great but should work.
