Is it possible?

Hi
I downloaded free software today from download.com and the software is for changing your voice pitch. But when I use the mic from my headphone and turn on the program I can hear my voice with different pitch but when I’m recording it actually comes back to my original voice. I wanted to know if there is anyway that I can change the setting of my audio system so that people will hear the sound that is coming from the speakers not from the mic.

Here you can check this free software

That's kind of odd... See if you have the option to record the stereo output. This can be selected though sound proporties.
i acctualy want to use it for my live radio program that i have on monday...

It sounds like the program is working properly, it's just that the program that you are recording with is recording the audio in, unprocessed. So, somehow you need to find a way to record the audio input after it has been processed by the program that you are using... Maybe does that program you downloaded have a record option as well???

yes it does have a record option...but when i'm having my live radio program and the software is on people hear my orig. voice. thats because this software is not made for this purpose. my question is, is possible to do something that i people will be able to hear the voice that is changed by the software??

Well, do you know what you are going to say ahead of time, or since this is live radio, you want to be able to respond to the situations as they come along?

Here's another idea, have you tried using your computer audio out port as the audio input for this radio program? Hopefully since you can hear the change through your speakers, maybe by using that port in some way you can help your listeners join in the fun ;)

thanks for the reply dciscouts :)
i want to be able to respond to the situations as they come along ... and can you please explain more...i'm not really into this stuff....
thanx

Well, what I'm thinking is if there is a way to use the mini port on the back of your tower that is usually used for your speakers to somehow reply to your listeners. Hopefully, if I'm understanding you correctly, since you can hear the voice changes in your speakers normally, than your listeners should be able to hear what you are saying via that line that is usually reserved for the speakers...

P.S. You will probably need a converter to go from the 1/8" mini jack on your compy to the 1/4" jack that is an input for your sound board. Hopefully this is all making sense...

i don't know if this information will help or not...on my compter i have 5 (i dunno what its called..the holes that i can connect the speaker and mic wires to :D )right now i connected my mic wire (the one for recording) to the computer and i have my 5.1 creative speakers on. And right now when i'm talking i can hear the change from my speaker. but when i record my voice or talk to other people via voice chating and other stuff the voice changes back to the orig.
