I'm putting together this crap computer for my mom and I have buy an ethernet card but i don't really know what im doing. Does it matter what I get? Does it depend on whether I am running DSL or Cable? Thanks.
nope an ethernet card is an ethernet card.. no difference.. Dsl and Cable both plgu into the card.. The motherboard might have a plug in on the back of the computer.. you might not need it.
