Ipod touch help

Hey guys, i recently got an ipod touch 2nd gen (first ipod, bout time, 6 years late) and i downloaded temple run. looked pretty fun and was fun but then i played on my friend's ipod (btw mine and his arent jailbroken) which is a 3rd gen and his was soooooo smooth...he has the same firmware as me, is it just because the 3rd gen has more ram and a better graphics and cpu?

The 3rd gen has improved hardware over the 2nd gen, so yes.

Just like he said, it should be expected that your ipod touch 2nd gen would be laggy whilst trying to run Temple Run.

What, you thought the 2nd gen was better than the 3rd for some reason?

3rd gen is upgraded with some better parts so it runs better / smoother. I have the 2g and I also notice a change when playing any type of game on a 3g or 4g.
