DHCP by default has a lease time of a week to a month generally before the addresses are pulled and re-used. If you created a public network for guests, having a long lease time will cause clients to pull the same IP for a longer period of time before being reused, however if your environment consists of many new users throughout the term of the DHCP lease (such as a coffee shop or restaurant), your pool would be at a greater risk of filling up and then you'd run out of addresses. You could turn your network into a class A or B, but then that would be more involved.
