IP add in conflict

A few days ago I got a error that told me my IP address was being used and was in conflict with another computer. Today, some one has been screweing around with my myspace an changed the password and I cant get on it. Does this mean some one has gotten into my computer? If so, how can I see an what should i do?
 
Are you going to internet through a router? If so, you'll have to change some things.

but what about the myspace editing an what not?

edit: the computer that it happened to is a wireless laptop. We have a desktop up stairs.

The only way someone would get on your myspace would be throgh you leaving it on, or allowing it to stay logged in. (or saving the pw in the computer)
 
how many computers share the same connection ?
if you are sure a computer on your network stole your password

well i got back into my myspace but the person changed the songs a few times an moved stuff all over.. that + that whole msg i got about the ip kinda made me think bad things.

I have 2 comps on the connection. The laptop an the desktop
 
It would be best for you to set a static IP address for your both computers within the network so they don't go in conflict anymore. If you want, I can explain how to do that step-by-step.
 
So its just my comps fighting? No hacker or anything? No one used my myspace but me, so who ever did it did it from somewhere else.. no one new my pass but me.
