Internet works in linux not windows!

I can access the internet VIA LAN on suse kernal linuxbut icant on windows xp pro
I need windows XP Internet to work!

How are you connecting to the internet, TCP through an IP address,

are you a new windows user

ok go to start, settings control pannel, something like network connections (running 2000). the check in there to see if a network device is even installed

if you can find the network device then click properties and where it says tcp protocall (TCP/IP) then here you should find the settings and configuration of the device, make sure you now all you DNS numbers etc
