I was wondering what internet data can be regulated... and what can not be regulated... (by the goverment)

and maybe was wondering what should be regulated and what should not... just interested

I mean I know child porn should be, probally movie and music downloading.. but email should not...

what are your thoughts?
 
Well that really depends on where you live, and a lot of legislation concerning that is only just now being developed. You can pretty much just look at similar laws and apply them to data. For example, anything you can't distribute in hard form (child porn, copyrighted material), you can't distribute digitally. And if by regulate email you mean tapping, then the government would only be able to do that for the same reasons they might tap your phone or search your home.
